BOWA MEDICAL UK Headquarters

The new BOWA MEDICAL UK headquarters is located on a 3-acre site on the Oak Tree Business Park in Kingskerswell, near Newton Abbot.

Works included construction of a new manufacturing plant with research and office facilities. The new premises also houses a modern commercial space enabling the team to work collaboratively all under one roof with enhanced research and development capabilities to accelerate innovation.

RYALL Structural Engineers was appointed to provide full Structural and Civil Engineering services for this new cutting-edge facility. We worked alongside a design and construction team including Pinnacle Architectural Design and Project Management and Devon Contractors on this exciting project which was completed in October 2025. Interior design of the building was delivered by Revisionr.

Meeting Project Challenges

Originally, a significant volume of excavation material was due to be removed from site. However, instead of carting it away, the soil was retained and stabilised with lime.

This approach not only addressed one of the project’s main challenges but also delivered substantial savings by reducing disposal costs and helping to keep the project on budget.

Relocation of the company’s headquarters will not only bring new employment opportunities to the area but also secure the company’s position for sustained success in the years to come.
